Battery charging rooms

Lithium batteries for trucks are charged in separate rooms. Only trained colleagues may enter them.

Who may enter

• Colleagues with the battery handling badge, renewed every year.
• Maintenance staff with a work permit for the room.

Inside the room

• No food, no drinks and no phones on charge.
• Check the room temperature on the panel before you connect a battery. Above 35 °C, call maintenance.
• A swollen or hot battery is moved to the quarantine bay with the gloves from the red cabinet.
